In the 20 years since JDRF Kansas City Chapter’s Dream Gala began, more than $17 million has been donated for research aimed to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D). It’s because of generous donors like you that today there are better treatments to help those with this disease live healthier and longer. But our work is not done – we still need a cure.

At the Dream Gala May 2, 2015, there will be a moment after the Live Auction when the room is stilled, the story of hope unfolds and Fund A Cure begins. Whether or not you are able to join us May 2, you can participate in Fund A Cure. A donation to Fund A Cure is a direct donation to fund diabetes research. One hundred percent of your donation is tax-deductible.

While we have come so far in 20 years, there’s still work to do. We hope you will join us in writing the next chapter of our story, one that offers a cure to millions of adults and children who live with T1D.
